Beetroot & Carrot Salad
Beetroot and carrot salad is a healthy, easy and quick salad recipe. It can be prepared with easily available ingredients at home.

- 2 Nos. Beetroot
- 2 Medium Carrots
- Salt to taste
- 1 Tsp Lime Juice
Tempering
- 1 Tsp Oil
- 1/2 Tsp Mustard Seeds
- 1 Tsp Sesame Seeds
- Curry Leaves
- 1/4th Cup Roasted and Crushed Peanuts
- 1/4th Cup Grated Fresh Coconut
Julienne cut beetroot and carrot. You can use the food processor for ease the job.
Transfer them to a large mixing bowl.
To it add salt and lime juice. Give it a quick mix.
Adding Tadka –
Add tadka to the salad, right before serving.
Finish with roasted crushed groundnut and grated coconut. Give it a quick mix.
Serve chilled.
Serve the salad immediately, else it will turn soggy.
