The place serves modernized Indian cuisine. Simple and regular dishes have given a dramatic makeover. Everything is prepared from scratch, in-house, from sauces to dips, breads to desserts which makes sure everything served as fresh as possible. The drinks are amazing. The service is quick and good.
We started off with mocktails –
Soul Burner - The blend of kokum, chilli cilantro and lime. The kick of kokum with spiciness of chilli gave a tickling hit to my taste buds. Absolutely loved it. A must try for everyone who love spiced mocktails. #HighlyRecommended
Virgin Berry Khatta Slush – A unique combination of fresh mulberries with orange, grapes and kala khatta. Kala Khatta being one of my favourite flavours I like the combination with berries too.
Starters –
Masala Paneer poppers – Beautifully presented crisp fried paneer poppers. The golden fried crispy crust balls filled with melt in mouth paneer and cheese made a perfect snack. Flavoured with very mild spices to give rich creamy taste of paneer and cheese. Served along with spicy cheddar sauce to balance the taste.
Veg Shanghai Dumplings – Delicious dumplings having thin covering filled with the mixture of corn and broccoli spiced with herbs was just perfect. Served along with amazingly flavoured ginger-soy sauce which complemented the dish very well.
Misal Fondue – Misal sprouts filled in buttered brioche bread along with goat cheese fondue. There are certain dishes which tastes best when served the authentic way. The best apart about missal is its rassa which makes the dish what it is. Since it was served as a fondue there wasn’t any rassa and hence missed the flavours.
Wild Mushroom on Khari Toast – The in-house prepared khari slices presented in a sandwiched way, filled with champagne sautéed mushrooms. The crisp and fresh khari with juicy mushrooms gives an amazing distinct taste to the dish. Quite an innovative idea.
Mains –
Mushroom Risotto - Though I’m not a huge fan of risotto but the one served here was super delicious. Rich, creamy and cheesy texture with porcini mushrooms, garnished with parmesan shavings. Must try for Risotto and mushroom lovers.
The best part desserts –
Desserts are clearly the showstopper here. Perfect in every way to give you a sweet ending leaving you with memories and expectations to visit again.
Hazelnut Mousse – The perfect consistency, rich and creamy texture of this dark chocolate mousse flavoured with hazelnut is a must try at this place. Served along with creamy in-house prepared vanilla icecream. #Recommended
Nutella Crème Brulee – Who doesn’t love Nutella? I loved the idea of bruleeing this dessert to give the contrast crisp texture of caramelised sugar with a creamy Nutella crème beneath it. This dessert was the showstopper for me. #Recommended
Blueberry Cheesecake – Perfect, light and melt in mouth cheesecake garnished with blueberry. Served along with fresh fruit compote.
