We started off with the mocktails

Mango Bloom

Mango Bloom

Mango Bloom – Blend of mango pulp and sprite with balanced sweetness was a perfect start to beat the scorching heat. Mango lovers must try.

Orange Mojito

Orange Mojito

Orange Mojito – It was a delight to eye as well as palate. The wonderful looking mocktail had the power to please our taste buds as well. Prepared with orange pulp and mint and garnished with fruits was so refreshing.

Such start with the mocktails raised our expectations with the food as well –

Black Pepper Mushroom

Black Pepper Mushroom

Black Pepper Mushroom – Mushrooms are my favorite protein and Chinese my most liked cuisine. The result of the combination had to be my favorite. The balance of sweet & tangy sauce with the kick of black pepper made each bite a burst of flavors. The mushrooms were perfectly cooked with crisp outer layer and juicy within.

Ginger Honey Potato & Shittake Mushroom

Ginger Honey Potato & Shittake Mushroom

Ginger Honey Potato & Shiitake Mushroom – It was definitely my day with varieties of mushroom on the table. Shiitake mushroom has rich texture and smoky flavor. Potato wedges and mushroom were fried and coated with ginger honey sauce. Crisp yet soft veggies with delicious sauce is a must try.

Thai Basil Cottage Cheese

Thai Basil Cottage Cheese

Thai Basil Cottage Cheese – Batter dipped and fried chunks of crisp cottage cheese coated with red sauce. The dish tasted more of Chinese to me than Thai. Though the flavors were good and cottage cheese was fresh, but it lacked a little flavor of basil.

Dahi Ke Kebab

Dahi Ke Kebab

Dahi Ke Kebab – The place being specialist in Indian cuisine, this had to be perfect. Dahi ke kebab are my favorite starters in Indian cuisine. The crust was crisp with soft and gooey texture from inside, served along with mint chutney. The flavors were bang on.

Broccoli Galauti

Broccoli Galauti

Broccoli Galauti – This place made sure that vegetarians should not be deprived of the taste of our very own ancient and famous galauti kebabs. The most delicious galauti when turns healthy and vegetarian, tastes nothing less than divine. The melt in mouth kebabs served along with mint chutney were delicious. I would appreciate the talent of chef to crack the recipe of vegetarian galauti and present it in the healthiest form.

Crispy Corn

Crispy Corn

Crispy Corn Schezwan Style – This very popular Chinese starter, is easy to prepare and can go easily wrong as well. But the one served here could not be faulted. Perfectly crisp, coated with spicy and tangy schezwan sauce.

Tandoori Aloo Boat

Tandoori Aloo Boat

Tandoori Boat Aloo – Cut into halves and stuffed with veggies, wrapped in a foil, served along with mint chutney. It looked appealing but the potatoes were little under cooked and lacked tandoori smoky flavor to it.

Veg Crystal Mushroom Dumplings – Authentic preparation of any dish is surely alluring. The Cantonese preparation of dimsums is done with rice flour and tapioca starch and stuffed with filling of choice. Having to choose your own filling makes this dish very versatile. The one with mushrooms were delicious and perfectly cooked. Served along with in-house prepared dip.

Spicy Veg Coriander Dumplings – Steamed perfectly, though the stuffing was not suitable for my palate.

Desserts –

There are various options in desserts but not all are eggless. Not a huge fan of Indian desserts and hence would have preferred more eggless options in Continental desserts.

Three Milk Cake

Three Milk Cake – Having prepared with milk in three forms that is – condensed milk, whole milk and heavy cream, hence the name Three Milk Cake. Layered with different forms of milk and garnished with condensed milk. The presentation was attractive and so was the taste to tastebuds.

Gulab Jamun – The texture was perfect but little too sweet for my liking.

Moong Dal Halwa – Loved the balance of sweetness and texture. Perfectly prepared. #Recommended
