Level 5 Bistro & Bar
After the huge success of Kalinga Veg Gourmet Kitchen, the owners of are all set to amaze you with their new, European themed Bistro and Bar. Kalinga is on the top of my list of restaurants right after its opening, I was excited to know if ‘Level 5 Bistro & Bar’ place could claim its position. Owners gave me no chance of comparison as its two different restaurants that can’t be compared.
The beautiful interiors give a cozy and warm feeling upon entering. Music is soothing and happy. This is a place where you would love to visit with your family, friends, date or even alone. You can sit for hours in the peaceful vibes of this place, having your own time sipping your favorite drinks.
The drinks menu is designed by the queen of mixology herself ‘Shatbhi Basu ‘. I have not seen such a huge variety of mocktails elsewhere. The drinks are light, you can keep on sipping them without feeling bloated or full. The combinations are unique and interesting to try.

We started with mocktails –
Cucumber & Raw Mango Fizz – The freshness of cucumber combined well with the tanginess of raw mango along with the kick of ginger. The perfect drink to get started. The drink was light and refreshing.
Imli Soda – The name itself was enough to salivate my mouth. What an exciting combination of tamarind juice mixed with chili and pink salt. It brought me back my childhood memories of eating tangy candies. Loved it.
Wild Mushroom Soup – Earthy, creamy and rustic flavors of a hearty soup prepared with assorted mushrooms, mascarpone cheese and thyme. The mushroom crostini served along side was magical. It’s a must try for mushroom lovers.
Not so Greek Salad – This place must show its magic by presenting dishes in an unconventional way. A twist to please Indian taste buds, the veggies are grilled and mixed. The combination of grilled asparagus, oven roasted tomatoes, charred peppers, in-house pickled cucumber, crumbled feta, balsamic reduction and fresh oregano leaves. It was refreshing and delicious.
Smokey Cottage Cheese – Soft chunks of cottage cheese marinated with almond powder, cumin, cloves and peppercorns, grilled to perfection. Served along with kafir lime infused sweet mango tart to balance the pungent flavours.
Vegetable & Pesto Sandwich – The sandwich is prepared in crunchy ciabatta bread, makeing it healthy. Stuffed with roasted peppers, mushrooms, zucchini, onion, pan grilled tomatoes with mozzarella cheese. The spread of fresh pesto was so refreshing and complimented the flavor along with veggies. Loved it.
Tomato, Avocado and Basil Pizza – A perfectly baked thin crisp crust pizza, just the way I like it. The toppings was a mix of creamy, tangy with a pungent kick of basil.
Broccoli & Almond Mini Quiche – I told you, this place is full of surprises. Who can think of a vol-au-vent pastry in quiche. This mastermind stroke made me fall in love with quiche all over again. The creamy stuffing in a flaky crust won my heart.
Verdure Pasta – What a delicious pasta it was. Every Indian palate will love this Italian pasta. It had bomb of flavors in each bite.
Desserts –
Chocolate Bomb – Justifying its name this truly is a chocolate bomb. The molten lava cake served with berry compote and vanilla ice cream.

Overall Experience – This place is a lit and perfect for a date or have a nice family time. The drinks are best and so is the food.
