Zeta - The new face at Hyatt Regency
Hyatt Regency has got a new face in its premises, Zeta which is all set to please you with its ambience, service and good food.
Chef Rohit Chadha has left no stone unturned to give you one of its kind experience when it comes to food. A well thoughtful modernized menu which is sure to bring your childhood memories with one or the other dish.
Needless to say, the service is top notch with welcoming vibes. The beautiful décor and interiors set an amazing ambience to the place. The best and most surprising part is the pricing. Now you need not think twice before taking your family out for dinner at a 5-star property.
They have a private dining area as well for a group of approx. 10 members. The outdoor seating area amidst greenery gives you calm, peaceful and cosy vibes to enjoy the dinner and spend a beautiful evening with your loved ones.
I tried a few things from the menu as per the chef's suggestions-
Started with the refreshing
Drinks
-
Desi Lemonade - This is not a regular lemonade that we get everywhere else. The sweet, spicy and tangy twist to this drink won my heart. The strong flavour of mint added a refreshing taste. I had a sip and I was sold. This is a must try in the menu. This one was my personal favourite.
Angrezi Lemonade – A drink prepared with cucumber was light and refreshing. My husband liked this one more.
Appetisers
-
Pune's Favorite BCG -
Fill/phyllo pastry filled with brie, served with sweet and sour dip which reminded me of chunda (a sweet and spicy Indian pickle/dip) and salad on the side. Very clever thought of serving the raw papaya dip along which very well complimented the dish. Loved it. #recommended
Hiru Aunty’s famous Parsi Cutlet -
Sweet potato and soya cutlet with a strong flavour of kafir lime, crisp from outside and melt in mouth from inside. Served along with mint and pomegranate chutney. Indeed, a healthy twist to a childhood favourite cutlet.
Cauliflower Soup and Roast –
A classical velouté sauce in Southern style roast cauliflower. The fusion of Indian and Continental was no less than BOMB of flavours. The cauliflower roast gave a rustic, spicy and chunky flavour and texture to the very smooth velouté sauce. Absolutely divine in taste and is a must try from the menu.
The AWC Salad –
The fruit and nut salad with an Asian twist. In the mix of salad leaves were caramelised walnuts along with chunky green apple slices. The spicy and tangy togarashi dressing mixed with soya sauce did all the magic to the salad.
Khachapuri -
Traditional Georgian bread filled with cheese and spinach. Loved the crisp texture of the bread, the gooey cheese inside made it delicious.
Desserts –
The delicious meal had even more delish end. The much-awaited course made our day.
Aunt Anna’s Milk Chocolate Mousse –
The best dessert I tried this year so far. I would not be exaggerating if I say I am short of words for this one. The cakey textured chocolaty mousse topped with blow torched marshmallows is a must have if you are a chocolate fan like I am.
Banoffee Pie –
This was yet another show stopper of the evening. I have never had such delicious banoffee pie ever. The presentation itself was so good to give you an idea about the taste.
